Swans Yard is ideally positioned just off the High Street, in the centre of Shaftesbury.

The Yard is named after a noted coaching inn that once stood on the site. It was a place full of activity where travellers stopped on their journey for refreshment and rest, and where locals met to exchange news and views.  This hubbub of activity is captured today as Swans Yard is known as the creative heart of Shaftesbury specialising in unique artisan shops.
